　　區(qū)別 : 過去式只能強(qiáng)調(diào)過去的事, 和現(xiàn)在沒有任何關(guān)系.

　　I ate a piece of bread.

　　現(xiàn)在完成時(shí), 過去的事情對(duì)現(xiàn)在產(chǎn)生的影響.

　　I have eaten a piece of bread this morning.I'm not hungry.

　　The clock stopped.陳述事實(shí)

　　The clock has stopped.過去的事實(shí)對(duì)現(xiàn)在造成影響

　　It snowed yesterday.

　　It has snowed yesterday.強(qiáng)調(diào)對(duì)現(xiàn)在造成影響

　　Lesson 7? Too late? 為時(shí)太晚

　　First listen and then answer the question. 聽錄音, 然后回答以下問題.

　　Did the detectives save the diamonds?

　　The plane was late and detectives were waiting at the airport all morning. They were expecting a valuable parcel of diamonds from South Africa. A few hours earlier, someone had told the police that thieves would try to steal the diamonds. When the plane arrived, some of the detectives were waiting inside the main building while others were waiting on the airfield. Two men took the parcel off the plane and carried it into the Customs House. While two detectives were keeping guard at the door, two others opened the parcel. To their surprise, the precious parcel was full of stones and sand!

　　飛機(jī)誤點(diǎn)了, 偵探們?cè)跈C(jī)場(chǎng)等了整整一上午. 他們正期待從南非來的一個(gè)裝著鉆石的貴重包裹. 數(shù)小時(shí)以前, 有人向警方報(bào)告, 說有人企圖偷走這些鉆石. 當(dāng)飛機(jī)到達(dá)時(shí), 一些偵探等候在主樓內(nèi), 另一些偵探則守候在停機(jī)坪上. 有兩個(gè)人把包裹拿下飛機(jī), 進(jìn)了海關(guān). 這時(shí)兩個(gè)偵探把住門口, 另外兩個(gè)偵探打開了包裹. 令他們吃驚的是, 那珍貴的包裹里面裝的全是石頭和沙子!

　　....were waiting... 故事背景, 用進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)

　　They were expecting...期待著心理上的等

　　They were waiting for...

　　a valuable parcel of diamonds

　　a cup of tea 強(qiáng)調(diào)的是茶

　　South Africa 南非

　　a few hours earlier 幾個(gè)小時(shí)以前

　　a few hours before/a few hours ago

　　someone had told...過去完成時(shí), 過去以前發(fā)生的事情

　　...that thieves would try to...

　　would+do 過去將來時(shí),間接方式, 轉(zhuǎn)述, 站在過去看未來

　　that 從句.典型的賓語從句, 起轉(zhuǎn)述作用

　　steal sth.

　　one...the other.../some...others...

　　others=other+名詞復(fù)數(shù)

　　...the plane arrived,...were waiting inside the main building

　　while others were waiting on...

　　when; while 當(dāng)……時(shí)候

　　while能用when代替; 　但是when卻不一定能用while代替.

　　while+從句, 動(dòng)作一定會(huì)延續(xù)

　　when+延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞/瞬間動(dòng)詞; when he arrived

　　when he died

　　when,while強(qiáng)調(diào)動(dòng)作同時(shí)發(fā)生

　　過去進(jìn)行時(shí) :

　　在過去的某一點(diǎn)時(shí)間, 或者是過去某一動(dòng)作同時(shí)發(fā)生的另外一個(gè)動(dòng)作

　　瞬間動(dòng)詞(arrive)無進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)

　　I am arriving 進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)表示將要

　　When he arrived,I was having dinner.

　　同時(shí)發(fā)生的兩個(gè)動(dòng)作, 均用過去進(jìn)行時(shí)

　　When I was doing my homework,my mother was cooking.

　　When my mother was doing the housework,my father was watching TV.

　　同時(shí)發(fā)生的兩個(gè)動(dòng)作

　　1.一個(gè)用一般過去時(shí), 另一個(gè)用過去進(jìn)行時(shí)

　　2.分工的情況, 均用過去進(jìn)行時(shí)

　　while others were waiting on...

　　Two men took the parcel off...

　　take sth.off...=take sth.away from...

　　and carried it into...carried 表示看得很重

　　表面上是分工, 兩個(gè)動(dòng)作同時(shí)發(fā)生, 不是同時(shí)開始同時(shí)結(jié)束, 延續(xù)時(shí)間不一致,

　　長一點(diǎn)時(shí)間的動(dòng)作用進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài), 短時(shí)間的動(dòng)作用過去時(shí).

　　; 動(dòng)作長用過去進(jìn)行時(shí), 動(dòng)作短用一般過去時(shí); 分工的情況, 動(dòng)作的開始時(shí)間和

　　結(jié)束時(shí)間幾乎相同, 均用過去進(jìn)行時(shí);

　　2.兩個(gè)動(dòng)作在同時(shí)段進(jìn)行, 在不同時(shí)間結(jié)束, 先發(fā)生的動(dòng)作未結(jié)束, 另一個(gè)動(dòng)作

　　3.瞬間動(dòng)詞沒有進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài), 所以兩個(gè)動(dòng)作同時(shí)發(fā)生, 延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞用進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài), 瞬間

　　動(dòng)詞使用過去時(shí)態(tài).
